Are these supplements safe to take?

Im 18 years old and weight 153lb. So i wastelling one side of my friends how i wanna get built, but no matter how much i eat i burn it off really fast. Ive been losing a lot of weight just by walking to school cause i like to walk.I used to be 170 and walked 4 miles a day, but jesus i started to loose fast, so i decided to take the bus lol. I eat okay 2 big meals and 2 small meals.As soon as i see im 155 or 158 i drop down again to 153 or 152. So i was telling my friend like how i need to gain some more weight fast and like have more mass, he told me to take some protein shakes.Now im a little skeptic about this,because i have the other side o my friends saying their just legal steroids and are no good on the long run. Can someone give me some more information about these things? and iam going to the GNC store also to speak to a nutritionist there about this, but i also want someone who takes them to answer this so i can get a better idea here. lol sorry i didn't give my height Im 5'10 or 5'11 and 153lb

First off the people that work at GNC are not nutritionists! They are average joes like you and me, I have never saw a GNC employee I would consider buff either, take that for what its worth. But you have not told us what Supplements?? Did you mean protein shakes in general? Their are two types Whey which is a quick digesting and soy which is slow digesting, So taking a whey protein after a workout will help with recovery and give you added calories, and taking a soy protein at night will digest all night aiding in not loosing so much weight. Now asking if they are safe is another matter, if you want to be sure that what is in the label is what is on the bottle go to www.informed-choice.org they are a group that tests supplements and make sure of what is in there is really in there. But they do not tell you if something is safe, any supplement can have anything in it and not tell you, just FYI.

Alright so i have greenish blue eyes, light brown hair, skinny body, a little gap in between my two front teeth, i hate my nose, and i feel like my face is a weird shape but i don't know. Do you have any hair styles, makeup, and weight gaining tips? Also i would like to know how to do the smokey eye and should dye my hair? I am 13 and i can dye my hair, wear makeup, and my mom said i can get my eyebrows waxed ( my eyebrows are ugly too) THANKS FOR THE HELP! and please dont tell me im too young to be on yahoo answers =)

Take things step by step don't rush otherwise things wont go right. First of all make a list of all the things you need doing such as waxing eyebrows, dying your hair etc.. how do i deal with these stretch marks?

im a guy...so no i didnt go through a pregnancy. nor did i gain a lot of weight. im an atheltic guy who enjoys working out. recently ive found stretch marks on my inner-arm on the upper portion of my biceps. ive been working out a lot and i guess my arms kinda grew faster than my skin could handle or somethin. and im not even that big. i just have an athletic body. one solution i guess would be to stop working out and use cocoa butter as ive seen after doing a search on yahoo answers. but i dont want to stop working out. and if i keep at it the stretch marks will probably just get worse. so what is the best way to handle this situation and how can i keep working out without making these stretch marks worse?

Well as a mother of three I am no stranger to these.... Increase your water intake, avoid DIRECT sunlight on the area ( use a water proof sunblock on this area), if possible. OF COURSE, vit E oil ( can be capsules- rupture w/ a pin and spread over area. I found raw ( no additives/ fillers) SHEA BUTTER at a health food/ supply store, to be helpful also. Remember your skin has a 6 month delay so if you were to gain/lose weight or mass quickly it would not return to its original shape until 6mo after DRASTIC lose or gain. No matter what you choose to treat them with make sure you are CONSISTANT and ROUTINE, that yields results. Sometimes guys cant commit to a "Beauty regimen" you may want to start simple..... Get some mineral oil, pour into a (new)empty spray bottle ( from travel/ trial size area of dept. Store) after showering spray liberally on WET skin , rub in ( concentrating on problem areas), dry of as you normally would ,& GO!!!! Careful this can make the shower or floor SUPER SLICK if you get too liberal w/ it.GOOD LUCK.
